In many parts of Africa, poverty forces young athletes to play basketball barefoot, limiting not just their performance, but their potential. Our mission is to provide athletic shoes to those who cannot afford them, offering more than just footwear: we deliver hope, dignity, and a chance to dream. Because we believe that a single pair of shoes can change a life, build a future, and remind a struggling athlete that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

Through events like PACE, Smart Sport Foundation turns passion into opportunity. By bringing athletes, mentors, and communities together, we’re proving that sport can do more than build skills—it can change lives, strengthen communities, and spark a lifelong belief in what’s possible..
Help today
We partner with sports teams to collect new and gently used athletic shoes. We then ship the shoes to Africa and distribute them to athletes participating in camps or clinic events.
